Rodeneck

The mountain village of Rodeneck looks back on a long history. It is located on a sunny plateau in the Eisack Valley named after one of the biggest medieval fortresses of the country, Castle Rodeneck. The municipality consists of the districts Vill, the main village, Gifen, Nauders, St. Pauls, Spisses, Ahnerberg and Fröllerberg. Here the Pustertal, the Eisacktal and the Wipptal meet. There is neither hectic car traffic nor noisy roads. The historical city centre of Brixen with numerous cafes, restaurants and shopping facilities is 14km away. The ski resort of Gitschberg-Jochtal is 11km away and Kronplatz is 30km away.

Terenten is located on a high plateau above the Puster Valley and the "Strada del Sole" and consists of the fractions Talson, Holderloch, Margen, Hohenbichl, Sonnberg, Pichlern, Schneeberg, Pein, Lehen and Ast. Besides a short practice lift in the village centre there are three small supermarkets, a bank, hotels with bars and a cafe. Thanks to its location the village offers unbelievably spectacular panoramic views of the Dolomites to the southeast and the mighty Sarntaler Alps to the west. The superb Kronplatz and Gitschberg-Jochtal  ski areas are just 20 minutes away.

Vintl-Weitental
